What's Your First Handgun Story? Do You Still Have It?

Thinking back to my first handgun, a little .22 revolver that felt huge in my hands. I still have it, and it holds a special place in my collection. What about you? What was your first gun, and do you still keep it around? Feel free to share some pics or stories!

This one's easy, I bought my first just a couple of years ago. A Glock 43x that I still have. It's come close a couple of times to being booted, I have a love/hate relationship with it.

Well, my first gun was a Remington 514 Boy's Carbine. Got it for Christmas, 1961, much to the dismay of my mother! Sold it a couple years back because neither of my sons showed any interest in it. First handguns were all Smith & Wesson, got them all in 1969 as a High School graduation/off to college gift.
