Suppressor Approval Time: Dealer vs Trust Experiences

I'm trying to decide between using a trust or going through a dealer for my suppressor application. How long did both methods take for you? I'd love to hear about your experiences.

Considering that suppressors, along with all other NFA items, are illegal here in RI, I don't think you'll get many responses to this thread.

Ffrom what I've read, trusts can speed things up a bit and offer flexibility, while dealer applications are straightforward but might take longer

I went two ways at different times. When I used a trust + eForms it cleared in about six months, it was smooth and repeatable for future transfers. When I used paper through a dealer (years earlier) it took closer to 8–12 months.
