What’s your ideal revolver for daily carry, and what makes it stand out for you? I’m interested in hearing from those who rely on wheelguns for their everyday needs and who can share their experiences on what truly performs well in real-life situations.

My S&W 442 .38 Special is what I carry every day. It's light, no hammer to get caught on things, and fits in a pocket holster. I load it with 130 grain hollow points for good stopping power without too much kick.

I carry a S&W 340PD in a sticky pocket holster. It is 14 ounces and it is unnoticeable as far as weight and printing goes. The gun is set up with Crimson Trace laser grips, and an XS/24-7 Big Dot front sight. I carry a Safariland speed loader as well. I have plenty of choices, this is my carry gun. The gun is rather stout to shoot with full house.357 loads, I do dry fire and.38 Special loafs for live fire practice. It is for the protection of my family and me and for up close and intimate confrontations. I have no intentions of stopping a bank robbery or any other incident. This "is" the/a gun that I carry, it is not left in the car or in the bureau, or the console.
