Bought bulk ammo, half of it was bad

I got a good deal on 1000 rounds and like 500 of them were duds or misfires. I learned why it was cheap, has bulk ammo ever screwed you over?

I got burned once by buying remanufactured ammo in bulk and I learned my lesson quick. Now, I test a small amount before I order a whole case. If it's cheap, it is probably bad. If half of it doesn't even fire, it's not worth it.

I stick to factory ammo after watching a buddy deal with a squib round from some sketchy remanufactured stuff. Clearing a stuck bullet on the firing line is nobody’s idea of a good time.

Bulk ammo roulette strikes again, half duds is brutal. At that point you basically paid for frustration with complimentary trigger time.
