Trigger control is 80% of accuracy and nobody wants to hear that because it means dry firing in your living room instead of burning ammo at the range...
People love buying new gear but tend to hate the boring grind of practice. The shooters I know who drill trigger control at home are usually the ones punching the tightest groups at the range.
That realization really came to me a bit late in the game. I probably spent more time just buying bullets than actually working on my control. But once I really started concentrating on that, everything just came together better.
