The range rule you think is unnecessary

Some indoor ranges have arbitrary rules like 'one round per second maximum' even when you're the only person there and shooting safely. I get why they don't want mag dumps, but controlling cadence that strictly when I'm trying to practice split times feels excessive. Safety rules make sense, arbitrary rules that don't improve safety are just annoying...

Nothing like being told to slow down when you’re literally alone and perfectly safe.

The slow fire rule can drive folks nuts, but I get why ranges enforce it. One reckless shooter hammering out fast strings indoors can ruin it for everyone else in a flash.

The one-round-per-second rule drives me nuts sometimes. I get the safety idea, but strict timing like that can feel more about control than actual safety, especially when the range is empty.

Well to be honest, rules feel annoying until they’re the reason things don’t fall apart under pressure
