The load data source I stopped trusting

I won't name names here but I will say this, I stopped trusting a source after finding a transcription error in published data that could have caused some serious problems if I hadn't double checked it first, that one mistake was enough to change how I do this permanently.

These days nothing gets loaded until it's been verified against at least two printed sources from reputable powder manufacturers, no exceptions. It takes a little longer but it's the kind of extra step that exists specifically because someone, somewhere, eventually finds out the hard way why it matters.

Cross-checking against at least two reputable manuals is a solid habit, especially with how easily transcription errors can slip through. A little extra time up front beats dealing with a bad batch later.

I always make sure to check two printed sources now with no exceptions. I found a powder charge discrepancy once that completely changed how I approach load data.
