It started by just talking to two neighbors about basic emergency preparedness and the word spread, people showed interest. Now we have a quiet neighborhood network with skills mapped, resources shared and a communication plan that doesn't rely on cell service. Community resilience is real resilience.
 
 That idea of knowing your neighbors, having your skills mapped out and a communication plan, that’s the dream. Most places people barely know each other 😂
 
This kind of preparedness is what really counts when things go sideways. Most folks wait for a disaster to meet their neighbors. Getting ahead of that is smart. I wish my street was that organized, I barely know the guy two houses down.
