First shots of the day

I’ve noticed that my first shots in the morning can be hit or miss if I don’t account for a cold bore. A few warm-up rounds can make a difference but sometimes I like to test the cold bore anyway. Do you focus on warming up your rifle or do you rely on cold-bore shots first thing? What’s worked best for you?

I like to know where that first shot's gonna land when the barrel's cold. One good shot when it's cold tells me way more than a warm barrel ever will, especially when I'm hunting.
