AR 10 scope advice

I'm building an AR-10 and need scope advice. At a recent match, I saw all kinds of scopes. I'll mostly be shooting between 300-600 yards but sometimes closer. Any recommendations?

Thanks, a 4–16× sounds like a good choice. Do you have any favorite models that are rugged but still affordable? Something that holds zero well under recoil on an AR‑10 would be ideal

I've got a decent budget, nothing crazy expensive. I'm thinking a classic scope would be best since I'll mostly be shooting between 300-600 yards but I still want it to work well up close too

for a scope, get a 3-18x First Focal Plane, it works great for different distances
