I first came across Montana Knife Company while listening to Josh Smith on the Dave Ramsey EntreLeadership podcast. He discussed how they focus on American craftsmanship and high-quality knives. They certainly seem impressive, but I’m curious if anyone here has actually used one. How do they perform in a real-world setting?

Yep, I've got one of their knives, and it's a great piece of gear. It holds a great edge and the craftsmanship is top-notch, just like they say. It's built for real work and handles everything I've thrown at it

MKC makes some outstanding knives, especially for hunting. Their Speedgoat and Blackfoot models are legendary, and I love that they are 100% American-made. Its solid gear but they can be tough to snag when they drop
